Farmstead Living is seeking a dependable, compassionate PM Med Passer/Caregiver to join our care team. In this role, you will assist residents with daily care needs and safely administer medications.

Available Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm, EOW and holiday rotation

Job Description:

• Accurately administer prescribed and PRN medications according to the MAR

• Review and follow care plan for each resident

• Follow the “Five Rights” of medication administration

• Document all medications given, refused, or withheld

• Report medication errors or discrepancies immediately to nursing leadership

• Maintain proper storage and security of medications

• Documents and counts narcotics at the beginning and end of shift

• Responds to call lights in a timely manner

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility support

Qualifications:

• Trained Medication Aide or other medication certifications is preferred.

• Experience with medication administration will be extremely helpful.

• Organized individual with attention to detail.

• Careful, methodical, and efficient.

• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.

• Team player who has a passion for elder care and adapts quickly to changing situations.
